Staff and children dressed up as book characters today as we celebrated World Book Day. Following a whole school assembly during which teachers read extracts from their favourite children’s books, the children enjoyed a book-character hunt around the school and additional book related activities throughout the day. Year 1 pupils from Leopard Class read with pupils in years 5 and 6 from Kestrel Class – it was so successful we’re going to do it again! It was fantastic to see our well-stocked library full of children throughout the day. Thanks to everyone who took part.
