Molehill Primary Academy took children from across the school to the annual Kent School Games gymnastics competition held at Peguasus Gym in Maidstone this week.

After two years of attending the Kent finals we have high hopes for this years participants. The team looked professional in their new leotards and their behaviour and performances were outstanding. After giving up their evenings, lunchtimes and even their free time to practice the three routines (floor, body management and vault) the children shone out from the crowds- making an impression on the head coach of Pegasus as he head hunted some of our students to join their advanced squad!

We await the results to see if we have reached the next stages of the competition and are very proud of the efforts the children have put into each discipline, they have shown great determination, perseverance and commitment to their sport.

The children would like to say thank you to Miss Nicholls for training the children with an infectious passion and enthusiasm that has motivated them to challenge and push themselves further.
