This term, Molehill Primary Academy became involved in Buster’s Book Club with funding from the local Rotary club. Over the course of the term, children from each class were set a challenge to read for a minimum amount of time (10 minutes for year R and year 1, 15 minutes for year 2 and year 3 and 20 minutes for years 4 to 6).

The class with the highest percentage of children hitting their reading target were competing to win a termly prize. This term, the winning class was Tiger class who managed to hit their target 64% of the time.

These children won a FREE ticket to Leeds Castle, courtesy of Kent County Council.

Next term, the children will be competing for a free ticket to Planet Ice in Gillingham for an ice-skating session.

Remember, keep reading on a Wednesday night with your children to help them win these super prizes!
