Dear Parents/Carers,

I am sure that many of you will have watched the announcement from our Prime Minister yesterday evening and will now be aware that the country will enter a new National Lockdown. Guidance about this new National Lockdown can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-lockdown-stay-at-home

Pupils will continue to access their education at home, through the Google Classrooms, until at least the 22nd February. Teachers will be delivering live lessons to pupils, with additional work being set on Google Classrooms. There are a wide variety of resources to help you to support your child at home and they can be found on our ‘Home Learning’ Section of our website here: https://molehillprimaryacademy.org.uk/home-learning/

Additionally, each teacher has posted a range of resources and key information to help you in each Google Classroom.

During this time we will be continuing to provide a Key workers and vulnerable pupil provision. This provision will open from 8:30am to 3pm to provide childcare for Vulnerable Pupils or children of Key Workers. Please see further information regarding who qualifies for this provision:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision

I am pleased to confirm that if you have previously requested Work packs and Food Parcels, they are ready for collection from 10am tomorrow.

I recognise that this is again an unprecedented and challenging time for many of us. I want to assure you that whilst we cannot be together at this time, our school community are all here to support you. If you have any questions or need any additional help to make sure that your child continues to engage with high quality learning at home, please contact either the class email addresses or email contactus@molehillprimaryacademy.org.uk.

Yours faithfully,

Laura Smith

Principal
