You will be reassured to learn that the Governors have great regard to health and safety issues and they make regular visits to assess any risks.
You are requested not to bring your car into the drive up to the main academy. Parking is not permitted in the area outside the academy which is clearly labelled as being allocated to taxis and minibuses carrying the hearing impaired children. No child should walk through the car park. Footpaths should be used at all times.
The side and infant gates are locked soon after the start of the academy day and are unlocked again at 3.15pm. This prevents members of the public wandering through the academy site. The entrance is covered by CCTV and security codes.
You will appreciate that in the interests of Fire Safety and Hygiene, you are requested to leave prams and pushchairs outside, but please bring your young children inside with you.

Thanks for inviting me to do a story session with your school. I found the whole experience very rewarding as both children, and teachers were open to engage with me, and participated in listening to the stories, dressing up, singing and dancing.
